School Back-pack
Parents are advised that NHCA backpack is part of the schools uniform school back-pack and a Sports Kit Bag are supplied by the school. Name Tapes Please note that your child’s name must be placed by means of a name tape or permanent ink *Please note – Black shoes must be of the conventional lace-up variety
(‘Velcro’ fastenings only for preschool and ABC’s. Black plimsolls only for PE indoor (slip-on or lace-up,) trainers for outdoor)
Blazers
Parents should also be aware that it is mandatory that all boys and girls wear their blazers (in the correct size) to school throughout the year. From the autumn half-term to the end of Spring Term the school, coat must be worn over the top of the blazer. An ‘either/or’ policy does not exist.
Uniform
Parents should appreciate at the outset that we attach great importance to the wearing of the correct (as described) uniform. The Academy’s uniform should also fit and not be over-large or too small. Articles of uniform bought from other suppliers or mix-and-match arrangements are not acceptable.
Second-Hand Uniform
We understand that uniform can be expensive. And great effort is made in keeping uniform at a minimum cost for parents It may be of interest to some parents that the school will have a small stock of good quality second-hand uniforms. These are available at any time. Enquiries should be initially directed to the school office. NHCA
